Hawker Hurricane Mk.1
Scale: 1/72
Manufacturer: Arma Hobby
Parts used: Out Of The Box
Main paints used: MRP and AK Real Colors 38
In part one, we work on the wheel well and the wing section and then the cockpit. We use MRP for the interior green color.
In Part two, we weather the cockpit area with Smoke oil wash and then bring the fuselage half’s together and the wing section and tail and rudder.
In part three, we take care of all the seam lines with scrape cleaning and sanding and the re-scribe where needed before masking the canopy. Next it’s into the spray booth for the paint stage with priming.
In part four, we use the Top notch masks and AK Real colors to do the camo work on the Hurricane.
In part five, we mask up and paint the dark green on, unmask and go straight into decalling. Flat coat applied and then the dark dirt wash on and off. WE also spray the red spinner and the props, wheels, hubs, gear door and wells.
In the final part of this build, we take a close step by step look at oil withering and how you can change the look and feel of the model with just a few simple steps. Next we add all the final details ready for the final reveal.
